How Ballon d'Or AI collects, uses, keeps and deletes your data, photos and videos
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what Ballon d'Or AI ("we", "us") collects when you use ballondorai.net, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information: your name and email address, and your Google profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Photos you upload: the photo you submit to generate a video.
- Generated videos: the videos rendered from your photos.
- Payment information: purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive the amount, currency, the pack you bought and a payment reference; we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, used to run, secure and improve the service.
How We Use Your Information
- To create your account and sign you in
- To render the video you asked for and show it to you
- To process purchases, keep your credit balance and refund failed renders
- To answer support requests
- To prevent abuse, fraud and misuse of the service
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
Photos and Generated Videos
Your photo is used only to render your video. It is stored privately and sent to our AI video model only for that render. Your photo and your finished video can only be opened from your signed-in account; they are not shown to other users, listed or indexed.
Retention: 15 days. Each video and the photo it was made from are kept for 15 days after the video is finished, then deleted automatically from our database and storage. You can delete them sooner from History at any time. Download the videos you want to keep.
We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we do not sell them.
Data Security
We protect your data with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited retention. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Third-Party Services
We rely on service providers to run the site: cloud hosting and storage, an AI video model provider, Stripe for payments, an email delivery service, and privacy-friendly analytics. They process data only on our behalf and under their own security obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account in Settings, which deletes your profile, credit history, photos and videos. For any other request, contact us.
Children
Ballon d'Or AI is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Do not upload photos of children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
